IN ONE PIECE AND ANOTHER STEP IN THE FORWARD
DIRECTION AT THE ATLANTIC CAT 250
The luck finally turns for the Irving Oil driver
and the team gets a breath from wrecking parts. Jason in the #55 Impala
got his first race in clean and undamaged. “A real good
improvement, and a confidence boost that we needed right now”
said Jason.
The 2 rookie contenders battled it out again, with
Jaillet, only finishing one spot ahead of Jason’s 16th position
out of 27 starting cars. This is another small step but still in the
right direction for the new driver to the tour. “We are excited
to finally go back to the race shop and work on set up instead of
scrambling late hours to get it back into race shape.” Said
Jason. “Irving Oil deserves a nice car and good looking program.
It is time to get in the game and take advantage of this time to work
on set up changes. The next event was re-scheduled back at Scotia Speed
World next weekend. The Shediac NB event at the center for speed was
cancelled due to contract conflictions between the track owner and
Carquest tour management.
